Portrait of an end-of-life doula

About Me

As a certified compassionate end-of-life doula, I am dedicated to providing holistic support to individuals and their families during life's most profound transitions. With a background as a retired nurse, I bring a deep understanding of the medical aspects of end-of-life care, while also focusing on the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of those I serve.

In my personal life, I am blessed with a loving family: a devoted wife, mother of four, mother-in-law of two, and grandmother of two delightful grandsons. At home, I am accompanied by my cherished pets, Zoey the dog and Sam the cat, who bring joy and companionship to my daily life.

I enjoy traveling with my husband and our energetic dog, Zoey, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Walking is another passion of mine, allowing me to connect with nature and clear my mind.

Professionally, I am a member of the Doulagivers Association, which aligns with my commitment to enhancing end-of-life care through education and advocacy.

My role as an end-of-life doula is to create a supportive environment where individuals can explore their wishes, create meaningful legacies, and navigate the dying process with dignity and peace. I am honored to be part of this journey, offering guidance, comfort, and companionship to those facing life's final chapter.
